most of us are lonely – Camidoh reacts to ‘womanizer tag’ on musicians

Ghanaian singer Camidoh has revealed that, contrary to the common perception that musicians are surrounded by women, many of them actually experience loneliness in their personal lives.

He explained that the fear of competing with other women often pushes potential partners away. According to him, the demanding lifestyle and constant public exposure that come with being a musician can be difficult for many women to handle.

“People think that because of our profession and looks, women will automatically be attracted to us, but it’s not that simple,” he said. “Even Bossom P-Yung recently tweeted that people assume we have plenty of women, but that’s not the case. Many artists face this, but they don’t talk about it. Our career pushes partners away. People feel insecure because we are constantly exposed to women. Many relationships in the industry fail, and that’s the harsh reality.”

Sharing his personal experience, Camidoh spoke about how his career caused him to lose a serious relationship due to his partner’s insecurities.

“I lost a relationship because of the insecurities my partner had because of my job. It was really painful. Traveling constantly and not having time for her, she just couldn’t cope,” he shared during an interview with Elsie Lamar on Talkertainment.
