‘I’m dying to work with Skepta’ – Camidoh reveals

Ghanaian Afrobeats artist Camidoh has revealed his desire to collaborate with UK-based Nigerian rapper Skepta.
Sharing his admiration for the rapper, Camidoh expressed his excitement about the possibility of working together. “I have a strong fanbase in the UK, and I want to tap into that. I’m really looking forward to working with Skepta, and I’ve already started making moves in that direction. I worked on a track with Eugy, and I hope that helps open the door for me to connect with Skepta. I’m eager to contribute a sleek hook and a beautiful vibe for him,” Camidoh told Elsie Lamar on Talkertainment.
However, he clarified that this doesn’t mean he is turning away from collaborating with Ghanaian artists. “I’m still very much looking forward to many collaborations with Ghanaian musicians,” he added.
It’s worth noting that Skepta had previously hinted in March 2021 that he was considering stepping away from music, stating on Twitter: “Any verses of mine you hear this year were all recorded last year…I’ve stopped recording in 2021.”
