Bisa Kdei deserved 2015 VGMA Artist of The Year, not E.L – Ronny Bryan Johnson

Fast-rising Ghanaian artist, Ronny Bryan Johnson, better known as RBJ, has expressed his disappointment over rapper E.L winning the ‘Artist of the Year’ award instead of Bisa Kdei at the 2015 VGMAs.
The decision sparked controversy among music lovers, with many fans criticizing the award scheme. In a recent interview with @Ghmouth_pice on Kingdom 107.7 FM, RBJ shared his thoughts on the matter.
When asked about artists who didn’t deserve an award they received at the VGMAs over the years, RBJ revealed that he felt let down by the board’s decision to give the coveted ‘Artist of the Year’ title to E.L instead of Bisa Kdei in 2015.
“I remember that year when the nominees were announced, I was rooting for Bisa Kdei to win Artist of the Year because he was dropping hit after hit. But they ended up awarding E.L,” he said.
