Shatta Wale’s Subtle Jab at Stonebwoy Sparks Heated Debate Over Spotify’s 2025 Exported Artist List

Dancehall artist Shatta Wale has sparked online debates once again after subtly taking a jab at Stonebwoy for not making it onto Spotify’s 2025 Most Exported Ghanaian Artist list.
In a post that has since generated heated discussions among fans of both artists on social media, Shatta Wale wrote, “Busy Body No Be Hard Work,” implying that being constantly active online or traveling the world doesn’t necessarily equate to global success.
This comment came shortly after the release of Spotify’s 2025 list of the most exported Ghanaian artists, where Ghanaian-American artist Moliy topped the chart with her globally popular single, “Shake It To The Max.” Stonebwoy, despite being one of Ghana’s most recognized international artists, was absent from the list.
While fans of Shatta Wale’s SM camp celebrated the achievement, Stonebwoy’s BHIM supporters argued that chart positions don’t define an artist’s true legacy or influence.
As the conversation continues to dominate online, neither Stonebwoy nor his management have publicly addressed the comments.
