Ghanaian musician A-Plus has expressed interest in becoming a Member of Parliament in the future. In an interview with Natalia Andoh on E-on-Class on Class 91.3FM, he shared that he is deeply passionate about the New Patriotic Party (NPP) and its presidential candidate, Nana Akufo-Addo, which is why he is actively campaigning for the party ahead of the December general elections.
When asked whether he hoped to secure a position in a Nana Akufo-Addo government should the NPP win on December 7, A-Plus said no. Instead, he revealed that his long-term goal is to enter parliament.
“My political goal is to become an MP someday. For now, I’m not looking for anyone to win an election and appoint me to any role. That would even keep me from doing what I enjoy. I want to be on Facebook, have fun, and hang out with my guys at Sakumono,” he explained.
