OA Transport Bus heading to Techiman Catches Fire Near Nsawam

Late Sunday night, a passenger bus operated by OA Transport Services, traveling from Accra to Techiman, was engulfed in flames near Nsawam, a town along the Accra-Kumasi highway. The fire left passengers in shock and sparked growing frustration about the company’s response, especially concerning the possible loss of personal belongings.
Initial reports indicate that the bus, which departed Accra around 9 p.m., was carrying several passengers on an overnight journey to Techiman in the Bono East region. Thankfully, no injuries were reported, as all passengers were able to safely evacuate the vehicle.
Following the incident, OA Transport Services attempted to minimize the disruption by providing an alternative bus to continue the journey to Techiman. However, passengers have voiced increasing dissatisfaction with how the company handled the situation, particularly accusing them of poor communication and a lack of support regarding the loss of personal items in the fire.
