Gospel musician and preacher Sonnie Badu has congratulated John Setor Dumelo, the newly elected Member of Parliament for Ayawaso West Wuogon, following his decisive victory in the 2024 general elections.

In a social media post, Sonnie Badu urged Dumelo to stay true to the promises he made to his constituents during his campaign. “Make sure you fulfill all your promises and make your mum proud. She’s smiling down on you,” he wrote.

Sonnie Badu also reminded Dumelo of a prophecy he shared with him 10 years ago, saying, “Dear @johndumelo1, remember what I told you in Australia; it will surely come to pass.”
