Kumawood actor and producer Kwadwo Nkansah, known as LilWin, has revealed that his upcoming film A Country Called Ghana will premiere in May 2024.
Filming for the movie began in February 2024, and it will feature a star-studded cast, including popular Nollywood actors Ramsey Nouah, Charles Awurum, and Victor Osuagwu. The film has generated significant excitement among fans, who are eager to see the collaboration between Ghanaian and Nigerian talent.
LilWin explained in an interview that the film is aimed at the popular streaming platform Netflix, which is why Nigerian talent has been included in the cast. Throughout the filming process, LilWin had been sharing teasers and scenes to build anticipation, though he later revealed that the snippets were not part of the final movie.
On March 13, 2024, LilWin took to Instagram to announce that A Country Called Ghana would premiere in Accra and Kumasi on May 5th and 6th, 2024.
