Kojo Antwi Set to Light Up Washington, D.C. on U.S. Tour

Kojo Antwi’s U.S. tour is set to make a stop in Washington, D.C., with a live performance at Karma, located at 2221 Adams Place NE.
On August 11, 2018, the legendary musician will thrill fans in the U.S. capital at a concert organized by Brand Africa Group and Berks Concepts, in partnership with DMV Ghana, DWorld Promotions, and GH Boyzz Promotions.
Charles Owusu Berko, CEO of Berks Concept, told TheAfricanDream.net that Kojo Antwi, popularly known as Mr. Music Man, kicked off his U.S. tour with a massive show during GhanaFest in Chicago, drawing nearly a thousand attendees at South Cottage Grove. He noted that preparations for the Washington, D.C. event are ongoing and encouraged all lovers of Ghanaian and African music to be part of it.
He added that after the D.C. performance, Kojo Antwi will head to New York for a show at the New Life Academy Auditorium in Mount Vernon on August 17. Two weeks later, the tour continues in Massachusetts at the Armenia Cultural Center in Worcester. Berko also revealed plans to arrange a courtesy visit to the Ghana Embassy while Kojo is in D.C.
Ama Nsroma Larbi of House of The African, a media partner for the event, shared that this U.S. tour has been anticipated for years. She expressed excitement, noting that Kojo Antwi hasn’t toured the U.S. since 2012.
Julian Asiedu of Jagonzy TV confirmed that tickets for the D.C. concert, scheduled to begin at 10 PM, are available on Eventbrite at the official Kojo Antwi DMV page, with more updates expected as the tour progresses.
