Kobe Bryant and Daughter Gianna Killed in Tragic Helicopter Crash

US basketball icon Kobe Bryant and his 13-year-old daughter Gianna were among nine people who died in a helicopter crash in Calabasas, California.
The private helicopter crashed and caught fire, and officials confirmed that no one survived.
Bryant, 41, spent his entire career with the LA Lakers, winning five NBA championships and becoming one of the sport’s greatest players.
Fans, celebrities, and athletes have been sharing tributes, expressing shock and grief. Basketball games across the country have held moments of silence in his honour.
The Grammy Awards, hosted at the Lakers’ home arena, also paid tribute. Host Alicia Keys said the world was “heartbroken,” calling Bryant a hero.
The NBA said it was devastated by the loss of Bryant and Gianna, praising his unmatched talent and dedication over his 20-year career.
