For years, one artist who has consistently pushed the limits in Ghana’s competitive music scene is E.L. Known for his hit songs, freestyles, and top-quality events, he always delivers. This December, he is bringing back the fifth edition of the BAR Concert – 2020, a show that will highlight fresh Hip-Hop and Rap music.
The annual concert has become a platform for introducing new talent, giving rising rappers and producers the chance to shine. For six years, E.L, the award-winning rapper, singer, and producer, has kept fans entertained. This year’s event happens on December 19, 2020, at 6pm at Alliance Française in Accra. Supporting acts include Joey B, Ayisi, Tulenkey, DopeNation, Gyakie, Kev & Grenade, Lyrical Joe, and others.
E.L said that 2020 has been a challenging year for everyone, but he wanted to give fans something exciting to end the year on a good note. After six years of hosting the concert, he’s eager to reconnect with his audience.
Earlier this year, he released a series of projects including a 3-track tape called “Leaks,” his joint EP with Ayisi titled “The Linkop,” and “Songs for Girls 3.” He also dropped “Still Papping,” the first single from his upcoming album “WAVS” (West African Vibes). Known for his versatility, strong lyrics, and energetic performances, E.L remains one of Africa’s standout Hip-Hop artists.
The BAR Concert 2020 is expected to be another memorable edition.
