Stand-up comedian Derrick Kobina Bonney, popularly known as DKB, is noted for tackling trending and sensitive topics in his acts, and his performance at the Easter Comedy Show was no exception.
Though he used some vulgar humor during the event, his joke about Assin Central MP Kennedy Agyapong had the audience laughing uncontrollably.
Referencing the recent incident on Adom TV where Kennedy Agyapong compared host Omanhene Kwabena Asante’s cheeks to ‘bofrot’, DKB jokingly imagined how the MP would react if he were delivering the budget statement in Parliament while facing heckling from the minority side.
DKB also delivered several other hilarious punchlines during the show at the Accra International Conference Centre, including a joke about Medikal, who left the 2017 Vodafone Ghana Music Awards empty-handed despite receiving seven nominations.
The Easter Comedy Show, organized by Event Factory and hosted by Comedian Khemikal, also featured musical performances from Becca, Ofori Amponsah, and others.
