DKB has called on Ghanaians to unite in the fight against illegal mining, popularly known as galamsey, which continues to affect various parts of the country.
Visibly frustrated by the destructive impact of galamsey on the environment and people’s livelihoods, the well-known comedian urged citizens to help combat the growing problem.
The former Big Brother housemate criticized authorities in an Instagram post, accusing them of failing to take adequate action against illegal mining.
“Why should I even have to explain why this must stop? Let’s all join in and fight this canker,” he wrote angrily on his page.
It appears the comedian has grown increasingly concerned about the damage illegal mining is causing to Ghana’s natural water bodies and environment, which ultimately affects the nation as a whole.
