Yaw Osei Adutwum Announces Completion of Creative Arts School in 2022

Minister of Education, Yaw Osei Adutwum, has announced that the Creative Arts School will be completed and officially opened next year.

In an interview with Kwami Sefa Kayi on Peace FM’s Kokrokoo, the Education Minister shared that construction of the Arts School will begin between January and February 2022, aiming to equip Ghanaian children with creative skills.

He further explained that the school will feature 12 science laboratories, meaning it will not only focus on creative arts but also offer a broad range of subjects to students.

“The school will open next year. The construction is progressing well, and we plan to start around January or February. The Creative Arts Agency is helping us structure the curriculum,” he said.

Adutwum emphasized that the Creative Arts School in Kwadaso will enhance the Creative Arts sector and provide many Ghanaian children with opportunities to study music, acting, instrument playing, and other arts-related disciplines. He also expressed his satisfaction with the Creative Arts Agency’s commitment to collaborating with the ministry to train teachers to properly educate the students.
