On Tuesday, August 27, 2024, Vice President of the Republic of Ghana and New Patriotic Party (NPP) Flagbearer, H.E. Alhaji Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, continued his campaign tour in the Bono East Region, specifically in the Techiman North and Techiman South constituencies.
During his visit, Dr. Bawumia engaged with chiefs and residents of Techiman, Tuobodom, Aroana, Aworowa, Fiaso, and New Techiman, sharing his vision for Ghana after the 2024 elections. His proposed policies focus on protecting the environment, expanding public infrastructure, improving healthcare for all, enhancing educational opportunities, promoting sports, the creative arts, and tourism, securing borders, and ensuring safe neighborhoods, among others.
The Vice President emphasized his dedication to providing more opportunities for the youth to acquire employable skills and underscored the importance of building the necessary infrastructure and logistics for national development.
He urged constituents in both Techiman North and South to vote for him in the 2024 elections, pledging to take Ghana to the “Next Level” of transformation. He also encouraged them to support the NPP Parliamentary candidates in the region.
