Earlier this week, reports surfaced that veteran rapper Abrewa Nana, born Dorcas Opoku Dakwa, had welcomed a healthy baby boy. The exciting news, which sparked celebration among her fans, was first shared by lively TV and radio host Amanda Jissih.
During a phone interview on Amanda’s radio show on Monday, the rapper – who turns 35 in December – confirmed the story. Her WhatsApp display photo also hinted that she had indeed given birth and entered motherhood.
The announcement, however, surprised many. The Odo Filla hitmaker had not been seen publicly during her pregnancy, so the news of her delivery came as a shock.
On GH-One’s E-Talk, hosted by Amanda Jissih, Okyeame Kwame – who was on the show to promote his new music – revealed that he ran into Abrewa Nana just two weeks earlier in Kumasi. According to him, they spoke briefly, and she showed no signs of being pregnant.
He added that Abrewa Nana was dressed in blue jeans and a tube top, looking energetic and youthful when they met. Amanda was visibly stunned and left speechless by Okyeame Kwame’s revelation.
