Versatile musician Sista Afia has been included in the Top 100 African Musicians list, revealed by Pan-African entertainment channel Watsup TV.
The “Weather” hitmaker was notably the only female artist from Ghana to be featured among the continent’s top talents.
In recent years, Sista Afia has emerged as a key figure in Ghana’s music scene, earning recognition for her powerful singing and rapping skills. She has been commended for injecting fresh energy into the local music industry.
Other notable female artists from across Africa who made the list include Charlotte Dipanda (Cameroon), Latifa (Tunisia), Tiwa Savage (Nigeria), Teni (Nigeria), Yemi Alade (Nigeria), and Salma Rachid (Morocco), among others.
Meanwhile, only nine Ghanaian male artists made the list, including Kidi, Kuami Eugene, Medikal, King Promise, Kwesi Arthur, Stonebwoy, Shatta Wale, R2Bees, and Sarkodie.
