Shatta Wale Chased Out of Krofrom by Angry Youth

Dancehall artiste Shatta Wale was reportedly chased out of Krofrom, a community in Kumasi, by an angry group believed to be friends of the late Junior US, who was murdered in his U.S. home on May 20, 2019.
Before Shatta Wale travelled to Kumasi, the group had warned him not to enter the area, accusing him of failing to attend Junior US’s funeral despite their close relationship.
They also claimed that Shatta Wale owed Junior US GH¢200,000 and insisted he should not return to the town until the debt was paid.
Ignoring these warnings, Shatta Wale arrived in the neighbourhood with his convoy as part of his ‘Kumerica Invasion’ tour.
When he showed up, a group of furious youth confronted him and nearly vandalized his vehicles, but the police stepped in to control the situation.
Sources indicate that Shatta Wale’s visit to ‘Krofrom’ was mainly for the shooting of a music video for his ‘Kumerica Invasion’ album, which features several rising rappers from Kumasi who became popular during the Kumerica trend.
