Award-winning artist Sherifa Gunu has suggested that Ghana’s renowned rapper Sarkodie has been avoiding collaborating with her on a music video, despite featuring on one of her tracks.
In an interview on Kingdom 107.7 FM, Sherifa briefly addressed her current situation with Sarkodie. She explained that their communication had been smooth until she traveled abroad to give birth. Sherifa wanted to remix a song she had previously recorded with Sarkodie and shoot a video for it. However, despite reaching out to him, she said she received no response.
Instead, she decided to work with Ras Kuuku on the song and recently released the video. Sherifa also shared that after the interview, she noticed Sarkodie had posted her music video on his Instagram and Facebook pages, suggesting that he may have regretted the situation.
