Ghanaian rapper and musician Black Sherif has plenty to celebrate after dominating the Spotify charts in 2025.
He claimed the top positions in both the Top Artist of the Year and Most Streamed Artist of the Year categories. His success didn’t stop there—his 2025 album Iron Boy took the title of Most Streamed Album of the Year, and his track “Sacrifice” became the Most Streamed Song on the platform.
As if that wasn’t impressive enough, 9 of Black Sherif’s songs ranked in the top 10 of Spotify’s Most Streamed Songs list.
Spotify wasn’t the only platform where Black Sherif made waves. On Apple Music Ghana’s Top Songs of 2025 list, all twelve spots were claimed by tracks from his Iron Boy album, with “Sacrifice” leading the charge. This made him the first Ghanaian artist to achieve such an accomplishment.
As fans eagerly await results from other streaming platforms, one thing is certain: the artist from Konongo has achieved something many of his peers in Ghana have only dreamed of.
