Rappers Sarkodie and M.anifest stirred nationwide conversation after M.anifest dropped godMC, which many believed was a direct response to Sarkodie’s single Bossy. Not long after the debates began, Sarkodie released Kanta, a freestyle over Desiigner’s Panda, which fueled the perception of a brewing feud.
Although many fans assume the two artists are at odds, M.anifest has denied taking shots at Sarkodie. In an interview with KOD on Live FM, he explained that social media users exaggerated the situation when godMC was released.
“When I hear people talk about beef, I just think of the way issues get blown out of proportion in showbiz… Everyone on social media has an opinion, but there’s no conflict between us,” M.anifest said.
He described their relationship as professional, emphasizing that they are simply colleagues who respect each other. M.anifest added that he hasn’t seen Sarkodie in a while.
Responding to rumors about collaborations between them, he confirmed, “We’ve worked together, and some of the songs aren’t out yet.”
