Techiman North MCE Pays Courtesy Visit to Tuobodom Chief, Seeks Collaboration for Development

The Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) for Techiman North, Hon. Adom Johnson, recently paid a courtesy visit to Nana Agyei Kokoo Takyifri Beyeeman II, the Omanhene of Tuobodom Traditional Area, as part of his familiarization tour following his appointment.

During his address, Hon. Adom Johnson expressed gratitude to the traditional leaders and the people of Tuobodom for their support throughout his nomination and election process. He assured them that he would leverage his position to drive the comprehensive development of the region.

However, he emphasized that this goal could only be achieved with the active participation of the traditional authorities. He urged everyone to work together, particularly with the Chiefs as the Custodians of the Land, to ensure that Techiman North develops successfully.

The MCE also requested Nana’s backing for the initiatives of President John Dramani Mahama, believing that such support would further aid in the region’s growth.

As part of his visit, Hon. Adom K. Johnson also took time to meet with the Chiefs and Elders, fostering a spirit of cooperation and unity between them. He expressed his belief that this interaction would be a positive step forward for the development of the municipality.

Hon. Adom K. Johnson reassured the Chief and Elders that they could always count on his office for consultation and collaboration in the pursuit of the community’s progress.

Nana Agyei Kokoo Takyifiri Beyeeman II, in turn, expressed appreciation for the MCE’s warm approach, noting that this gesture would help facilitate the positive transformation of Tuobodom and the broader municipality.

Taking the opportunity, Nana offered words of wisdom to the MCE, referencing the biblical story of King David as a source of inspiration. He reminded the MCE that, just like David, who was chosen by God to lead despite being the youngest among his brothers, the MCE’s appointment was divinely ordained.

“God knows you better than even President Mahama and has appointed you with the responsibility as MCE. God knows what is in you, so you have his blessings already. Trust in the mighty name of Jehovah God, and you can perform without any fear,” Nana advised.

Finally, the Paramount Chief made a heartfelt appeal to the MCE, urging him to prioritize the development of Tuobodom during his tenure.
