Ghanaian singer Mzbel has disappointed many fans who were eagerly awaiting her new single, Asibolanga, by announcing a delay due to safety concerns.
In a Facebook post on October 14, 2022, she explained that her team had been instructed to make changes to the song, which they were working hard to complete. “Sorry Mzbelievers, Asibolanga can’t be released today due to an unfortunate situation beyond our control.
We’ve been asked to make some adjustments, so my team and I are working to get it done ASAP! I’ll update you on the new release date once everything is confirmed. Thanks for your love and support, and I wish I could explain what’s really going on, but safety first,” she wrote.
The apology came after she posted a song mocking her rival, Afia Schwarzenegger, on October 6, 2022. The Amapiano-inspired track was dedicated to Nana Tornado’s fans and quickly gained over 45,000 views across her social media accounts.
