Kenya Welcomes Sonnie Badu for First-Ever ‘Africa Worships’ Concert

UK-based international gospel musician Minister Sonnie Badu has arrived in Kenya for a major worship concert.

The event, which aims to bring together Christians from across the country in a spirit-filled worship experience, is the first of its kind in Kenya. Sonnie Badu says he is thrilled to lead God’s people in worship on August 29, 2015.

The concert will take place at Jubilee Christian Center, one of Kenya’s largest churches, and will be broadcast to more than seven million viewers.

Speaking in an interview, Sonnie Badu expressed his joy and high expectations for the event.

“It is a great honor to bring my ‘Africa Worships’ experience to Kenya. I believe many will be blessed by the ministration, and as always, we expect heaven to meet earth,” he said.

The concert is part of a five-day program hosted by Bishop Allan and Rev. Kathy Kiuna during the Annual Daughters of Zion Conference, which also features guest speaker Dr. Cindy Trimm.

Dr. Trimm is a renowned author, teacher, former senator, empowerment specialist, and global transformational leader. She is listed in Ebony magazine’s Power 100 as one of the top influencers and thought leaders in the world.

The Daughters of Zion Conference began on August 25, 2015, and will conclude on August 30, 2015.

In anticipation of the worship night, many Kenyans have taken to social media to share their excitement about joining Sonnie Badu in worship.
