A young man has been arrested by the police at Nsuta in the Techiman South Municipality of the Bono East Region for allegedly vandalizing a political party billboard.
The billboard, located along the Nsuta-Techiman road, belonged to Mr. Christopher Bayere Baasongti, the NDC’s parliamentary candidate for Techiman South in the 2020 elections.
The suspect, Samuel Oduro, a resident of Agosa in the same municipality, was detained by the police in Techiman following the incident on Monday, August 31, 2020.
Police Sergeant Boakye Yiadom from the Techiman Divisional Police Command confirmed the arrest and stated that investigations are ongoing.
