Krontihene of Forikrom Calls for Police Post in Community

Nana Ayiso Donyinah, Krontihene of Forikrom in the Techiman Municipality, has called for the establishment of a police post in the community to help curb rising crime.
He made this appeal during a visit by Mr. John Kofi Donyinah, the Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) for Techiman, who came to introduce himself to local chiefs and residents, understand their socio-economic challenges, and explore possible solutions.
Nana Ayiso also highlighted other urgent community needs, including access to potable water, street lighting, a market square, and improved road infrastructure. He expressed hope that the Municipal Assembly would prioritize these issues in its short-term development plans to bring relief to the area.
In response, Mr. Donyinah encouraged parents and guardians to prioritize the education of their children as a vital investment that equips them with employable skills and prepares them to become valuable professionals. He assured the community that the Assembly would strive to address their requests and urged residents to support the government’s efforts toward national development.
