King Promise’s family in prayer mode after Technical Issues Disrupt 2023 Promiseland Concert
The 2023 Promiseland concert, headlined by King Promise of Legacy Life Entertainment, faced significant technical issues that nearly derailed the December 26, 2023 event. Held at the La Palm Royal Beach Resort, the show was delayed due to power outages, causing the event to miss its scheduled start time.
King Promise shared details on Snapchat, revealing that during the “blackout,” his family gathered to pray for a solution, as they were unsure of what was happening. He posted a video showing his parents praying in his room, expressing gratitude for their support. “Love my family for real. God bless them for me,” he wrote.
After hours of efforts to fix the issue, power was finally restored shortly after midnight, allowing the event to go ahead. While some guests and performers were frustrated by the delay, the show eventually began once the power was back on.
This isn’t the first time Promiseland has faced setbacks; the previous edition also experienced delays, leading to Afrobeat star Wizkid abandoning his performance due to similar issues.
