Ghanaian musician King Promise has reflected on the important roles his parents played during his childhood.
In a recent interview sighted by Zionfelix.net, he shared that his parents consistently provided everything he and his siblings needed.
He explained that, as children, their responsibility was simply to focus on their education, show respect, and carry out their assigned duties.
“Growing up was very normal. I was raised in an average Ghanaian family home. I attended several schools and grew up in Nungua,” he told Amansan Krakye on Kastle FM.
He added: “My parents always made sure we had whatever we needed. All that was required from us was to learn, be respectful, and handle our responsibilities.
“It was a wonderful upbringing—just like that of a typical Ghanaian child.”
