British-Sierra Leonean actor Idris Elba is currently in Ghana for the second annual Africa Cinema Summit, organized by the National Film Authority of Ghana. The event, which began on October 7, is scheduled to run until October 10 in Accra.

With the theme “Cinema Relevant in African Communities,” the summit commenced on October 7, 2024, at the Mövenpick Ambassador Hotel in Accra.
