“I Spent Four Days in Cells” – Mzbel Shares Untold Story

Mzbel, born Nana Ekua Amoah, has disclosed on Restoration With Stacy that she once spent four days in police cells.

Sharing details of an arrest that occurred about four years ago, she explained:

“I was kept in the cells for four days. The first day was difficult, but by the second day things were a bit better because I was allowed to tidy up the place. I brought in a mattress and bed sheets and cleaned the area so I could be more comfortable. I was alone at first, but later two other girls were brought in,” she recounted.

The celebrated hiplife artist was arrested in 2011 for allegedly assaulting a police officer. According to reports, she and two others were accused of attacking Officer Draphor Albert and obstructing him from performing his duties. They were also said to have resisted arrest and were charged with driving without a license.

The other accused individuals were Maxwell Mensah, a driver, and Emmanuel Edem Nordzor, a student.
