I spent $100,000 to produce ‘A Country Called Ghana’ – LilWin brags

Kumawood actor LilWin has urged fans and Ghanaians to stop making comparisons between him and his colleague, Dr. Likee.

In an interview on Lawson TV, the well-known actor proudly stated that he is one of the most heavily invested in the industry. He shared that producing his highly anticipated film A Country Called Ghana cost him around a hundred thousand dollars.

“My movie, A Country Called Ghana, which I self-produced, cost me about a hundred thousand dollars. Show me another producer in Ghana who can do that. Everyone has their own standard, so you can’t compare us,” he explained.

When asked about his plans to open a Senior High School, LilWin shared that while he has such aspirations, he is struggling with the junior high school he currently runs because some parents don’t appreciate his efforts.

“I have plans to open a Senior High School, but if it wasn’t God’s will for me to have the junior high school I currently run, I would have stopped. Parents are not appreciative of what I’m doing for their children… Kwame Nkrumah did something that people still mention to this day, and I want my name to be remembered even after I’m gone. That motivates me to keep giving my best,” he added.
