The long-awaited auditions for the Dance With Peter reality show, sponsored by Glo Mobile, will finally take place in Accra tomorrow at the National Theatre.
Dance With Peter is a youth-focused dance competition created and led by Peter Okoye, one half of the award-winning music duo P-Square, known not only for his singing but also his exceptional dancing skills. Peter, together with the judging panel, is expected to arrive in Accra for the Ghana audition phase.
From tomorrow’s session, six standout dancers will be chosen to join successful contestants from the Nigerian auditions for an intense battle for major prizes.
In recent weeks, hundreds of young Ghanaian dancers have signed up for the contest through Glo’s SMS registration. According to company officials, close to a thousand people have already registered, suggesting strong Ghanaian interest and determination to compete for the top rewards.
The overall winner will take home a brand-new Toyota RAV4 and GH₵45,000. The first runner-up will receive a Honda Civic plus GH₵30,000, while the second runner-up will earn GH₵15,000 along with a Kia Rio.
In addition to these impressive prizes, winners will gain exposure and potential career opportunities, including appearances in music videos for P-Square and other Glo ambassadors.
