First Atlantic Bank opens Techiman branch

First Atlantic Bank (FAB) Limited has inaugurated a new branch in Techiman in the Brong-Ahafo Region, as part of its broader strategy to expand its presence and make banking more accessible nationwide.
With the addition of the Techiman branch, FAB now operates 29 branches across Ghana. Speaking at the opening ceremony, Board Chair Mrs. Karen Akiwumi-Tanoh noted that the bank aims to increase its branch network to 31 by the end of the year. She also revealed that preparations are well underway to set up another branch in Tamale to better serve customers in the northern regions.
Mrs. Akiwumi-Tanoh highlighted that FAB has operated in Ghana for two decades as a merchant bank and received its universal banking license from the Bank of Ghana five years ago. According to her, the bank has played a significant role in supporting the growth of numerous companies and has collaborated with the government on initiatives to fund small and medium-sized enterprises.
She emphasized that the bank has developed innovative electronic banking solutions, including internet banking and point-of-sale services, to meet the diverse needs of its customers and make banking more convenient.
Mrs. Akiwumi-Tanoh assured the public that FAB remains committed to delivering exceptional service.
FAB’s Chief Executive Officer, Odun Odunfa, encouraged businesses in Techiman and surrounding communities to make use of the new branch to access financial services and secure capital for business expansion. He expressed confidence that the new branch would eliminate the inconvenience of residents having to travel long distances for banking services.
Odunfa added that FAB intends to continue extending its reach to underserved and unbanked populations across the country.
