Comic actor Richard Asante, widely known as Kalybos, has shared details about his romantic life, revealing that he has been in a committed relationship for over a year. He explained that he is no longer searching because he is seriously involved with someone he hopes to marry in the near future.
However, during his appearance on McBrown’s Kitchen on UTV, he declined to reveal who the lady is.
“Yes, I have a serious girlfriend,” he confirmed to Nana Ama McBrown.
Kalybos has often been rumored to be romantically involved with his colleague Ahuofe Patri, especially as many Ghanaian male celebrities are recently settling down with partners outside the entertainment industry. But he clarified that Ahuofe Patri is not the woman he is dating and stressed that they have never been in a relationship.
“Ahuofe Patri is my love only on the TV screens, not in real life. I’m seeing someone else, and it was actually Ahuofe Patri who introduced her to me,” he disclosed.
Kalybos, who transitioned into acting after performing in various comedy skits, remains one of the notable actors in the industry today with several films to his name. His appearance on McBrown’s Kitchen allowed him to cook while discussing his career and personal life.
