Ebony’s Father reveals Singer Suffered Abuse Under Her Management

The father of the late Ebony, Mr. Kwarteng, has stated in an interview on Peace FM that his daughter was mistreated, exploited, and frequently subjected to verbal abuse by Bullet, who served as her manager.
Speaking to Akwasi Aboagye, he revealed that during the latter part of her career, Ebony became emotionally exhausted as a result of managerial issues.
According to him, Ebony confided in him several times about the challenges she was facing, but despite his concern, he felt helpless because she was tied to a contract with Rufftown Records.
“She complained many times about the mistreatment. She simply wasn’t happy with her management under Bullet and spoke to me about it with a heavy heart. As her father, it pained me deeply and I wanted to help her leave the situation.
“I prayed constantly for her to be freed from it, but the contract she had signed meant she had no choice but to continue. All I could do was remain calm and support her from behind,” he told Akwasi Aboagye.
Ebony passed away after her vehicle collided head-on with a bus while traveling from the Brong Ahafo Region to Accra. She had been preparing to fly to Belgium for the Belgium edition of Ghana Meets Naija.
