Death prophecies affect the mental health of celebrities – Clinical psychologist

Clinical psychologist Dr. Isaac Newman Arthur is urging celebrities and public figures to dismiss public death prophecies, emphasizing their potential harm to mental health.

In an interview with Graphic ShowBiz, Dr. Arthur explained that death prophecies, when made public, can have a significant negative impact on both mental and physical well-being. He highlighted that receiving such predictions can lead individuals to make poor decisions with lasting negative effects.

He stated, “I believe the approach is more critical than the actual message. Some prophecies, when publicly revealed, can disrupt and even destroy people’s lives. The psychological impact of these prophecies can cause individuals to make rash decisions that hurt their long-term mental health.”

Dr. Arthur also raised concerns about how people sometimes react to these prophecies, mentioning instances where individuals have resorted to extreme actions like bathing in the sea or selling their assets in a desperate attempt to avoid the foretold danger.

He called on religious leaders, particularly prophets, to adopt a more thoughtful and empathetic approach when sharing such messages. Dr. Arthur suggested that these sensitive prophecies should be delivered privately, taking the psychological well-being of the recipients into account.
