Bullgod was not my manager – Shatta Wale takes credit for his success

For years, Ghanaians praised Bullgod for his role in Shatta Wale’s rise to fame, recognizing his contributions to the growth of Shatta’s music career. The two shared a strong bond, facing challenges together, and many admired their friendship.

However, recently, tensions between them have escalated. Shatta Wale took to Facebook on October 31 to assert that Bullgod was never his manager, stating, “I was my own manager and CEO of Shatta Movement till today. Stop lying to people that you managed me. I employed you and paid you #differentartiste.”

Shatta accused Bullgod of taking credit for his success and the hard work he personally invested in building the Shatta Movement. He also criticized the negative attitude toward success among some individuals, saying, “No wonder many are not happy with their fellow brothers’ success.”

The fallout comes after Bullgod publicly criticized Shatta Wale for straying from his original goals and being ungrateful to those who helped him build his brand. In recent interviews, Bullgod expressed frustration over Shatta’s inability to achieve international success, suggesting that Burna Boy’s rise reflected what Shatta could have accomplished if he had been more appreciative.

Following a video posted by DJ Khaled featuring Burna Boy in his mansion, Bullgod offered Shatta a “friendly” piece of advice: “Shatta Wale, all your money cannot buy this. I know your time will come, but until then, honour those who honour you. It brings more blessings and supernatural growth. Stop being bitter… be happy for everyone,” he wrote on Facebook on October 13.
