Key activities included: Sharing critical COVID-19 information about adhering to preventive protocols, Promoting healthy lifestyles to improve immunity and encourage early health-seeking behavior, Distributing PPE to the community.
The target audience for this project was primarily market women, traders, and the general public in the Tuobodom Central Business Area, which has an estimated population of around 700 people, including vulnerable groups such as men, women, and children. The campaign involved various stakeholders, including NCCE officials, staff from the Ghana Health Service (led by the District Director of Health Services), the Techiman North District Assembly (headed by the District Coordinating Director), and members of the Ghana Police Service.
The team communicated with the public using a public address system mounted on a vehicle, along with a handheld megaphone, to ensure wide-reaching messages throughout the area.
