It is widely known that Hip-Hop artiste Pappy Kojo and actress Yvonne Nelson were once very close.
The pair were frequently seen together and photographed on numerous occasions, prompting many Ghanaians to question the true nature of their relationship.
In an effort to shut down rumours of a romantic involvement, the rapper has firmly denied ever dating Yvonne Nelson.
During an appearance on Joy FM’s Cosmopolitan Mix on Tuesday, he stated that he had never been in a relationship with her, though he did not clarify why they appeared so close.
He added that the only Yvonne he had ever dated was someone named “Yvonne Melson” from Takoradi. His explanation, however, seems questionable, especially given a lyric in his song “Awoa” in which he says, “Yvonne Nelson… Se me nya no me nfa nkyen,” meaning “I won’t spare Yvonne if I get her.”
