Hip-life veteran X-Doe has suggested that today’s musicians lack depth in their music. Speaking on Kingdom Plus FM, the “Daavi Medekuku” hitmaker said older songs had stronger messages because artists spent more time crafting them.
He explained that remembering hit songs from just two years ago is difficult, while many classics from 20 years back are still easy to mention due to their quality and longevity. According to him, most modern tracks only last about six months before fading out, a trend he believes is harming the Ghanaian music industry.
X-Doe also revealed that he plans to release new music soon.
