Techiman North DCE Urges Residents to Support Ongoing Development Projects

The District Chief Executive (DCE) for Techiman North, Mr. Peter Mensah, has urged residents to support the Assembly by actively engaging with the District’s revenue mobilization team to help raise sufficient funds for ongoing development projects in the area.
He emphasized that, as citizens, paying taxes is a civic duty that enables the Assembly to deliver essential social services to the community.
Mr. Mensah made these remarks during a Town Hall Meeting in Aworowa, where he encouraged residents to fulfill their tax responsibilities. He highlighted that the Assembly had already planned and allocated funds for several development initiatives.
According to the DCE, the purpose of the Town Hall Meeting was to provide a platform for residents of Aworowa and neighboring communities to review past activities and collectively decide on the future direction of their community.
The event was well-attended by assembly members, heads of various departments, traditional leaders, religious leaders, and other local residents.
Mr. Mensah also outlined several key projects that the Assembly is working on, including the construction of a two-unit staff bungalow for the Krobo community Nursing Training College, a three-unit classroom block for Kyiridiagya, a CHPS compound in Nyansuaka, and a six-unit classroom block at Fittre.
Additionally, he mentioned plans to build two modern 20-seater toilet facilities for Aworowa and improve the grading of feeder roads in the area.
