Michael Blackson Urges Ghanaians to Vote Wisely in Upcoming Elections

As Ghana prepares for the upcoming elections, Ghanaian-American comedian Michael Blackson has urged Ghanaians to carefully consider their choices before voting in the December 7 general elections.
In an interview with Joy News, Blackson reflected on the country’s economic struggles, particularly since the onset of COVID-19, and called on Ghanaians to make an informed decision when choosing their next leader.
“It’s been a tough few years. Since COVID, the economy has been struggling, and life has been hard for many. We need to find a way to restore Ghana to its former glory,” he said. “Let’s think carefully about who should lead the country and vote wisely.”
Blackson also emphasized the importance of voting, urging people not to just complain but to take action. “You can’t just complain. Go out and vote, make your voice heard, and make your vote count.”
He concluded by reminding Ghanaians to prioritize God in their lives and not solely rely on political leaders for improvement. “Put God first. You can’t depend on a leader to define your life. Keep pushing forward, be great, and do the right thing,” he added.
