“Bullgod Criticizes Sammy Kay’s Arrest, Calls It a Violation of Human Rights

Lawrence Nana Asiamah Hanson, also known as Bullgod, an artist manager and entertainment pundit, has expressed concerns about the reasons behind Sammy Kay’s arrest.

Sammy Kay, a blogger, had posted a photo of a Cyber Security Authority (CSA) official and questioned whether this person was the same individual featured in a leaked explicit video.

Speaking on UTV’s United Showbiz with MzGee, Bullgod criticized the arrest, claiming it was a violation of Sammy Kay’s human rights. “This is a civil case, not one that warrants an arrest,” Bullgod said. “He only shared a picture of a man who wasn’t naked and asked if it was the same person in the leaked video. This is a violation of Sammy Kay’s rights. If someone is offended, it’s a civil issue, and they can go to court for redress. There’s no reason to arrest him.”

Bullgod further questioned the rationale behind Sammy Kay’s arrest, considering he had only shared a photo, and pointed out the inconsistency in the handling of the case. He questioned why the person who shared the explicit video had not been arrested, emphasizing that CSA should be focused on preventing the distribution of such content, as it is illegal.

“I saw someone post a sexually explicit video on Twitter. Has that person been arrested?” Bullgod asked. “That’s the job of cybersecurity. You arrest someone for posting a photo and asking a question? What sense does that make? The person whose image was shared should be the one to take action, not the person who posted the picture.”

Bullgod urged the public to stand against what he viewed as unfair treatment and to condemn the actions of CSA, stating, “We should not allow one of us to be treated like this.”
