Dancehall artiste Kaakie has repeatedly taken jabs at MzVee whenever the chance arises. Kaakie has on several occasions made unflattering remarks about the “Natural Girl” singer.
MzVee has now responded to the ongoing tension between them. She explained that Kaakie was someone she admired even before she joined the music industry.
According to MzVee, she has no issues with Kaakie, but it appears Kaakie may have a problem with her. She noted that whenever Kaakie speaks about her, it is usually negative or critical. She made these comments during an interview on Hitz FM.
“Kaakie was someone I admired before I came into the industry. I’ve always been cool with her, so I don’t know what wrong I’ve done. Anytime she talks about me, it’s negative—she’s always hitting hard at me. I think Kaakie just doesn’t like me,” MzVee said.
An emotional MzVee added, “I honestly don’t know what to say. If someone doesn’t like you, they just don’t. I have nothing against Kaakie. Anytime I see her, I greet her. I’ve never met her and ignored her before.”
