Four Killed in Gunfight Between Rival Factions in Tuobodom

Four people have been confirmed dead following a gunfight between two rival factions in Tuobodom, located in the Techiman North District of the Brong-Ahafo Region.
The incident began around 4 pm when six masked men, traveling in a tricycle with the registration number N 13-BA 2534, arrived in the town and began firing indiscriminately, resulting in the deaths of four individuals.

Chief Superintendent Emmanuel Twumasi Ankrah, the Techiman Police Commander, confirmed the incident to News Hunter Daily Magazine on Thursday morning. He stated that, according to medical reports, four people had died as a result of the gunfire. As of now, no arrests have been made in connection with the attack, and the police are continuing their investigation into the incident. Chief Superintendent Ankrah also appealed to the people of Tuobodom to assist in the investigation to help capture the gunmen responsible for the violence.
While the police are still working on gathering all the facts, Chief Superintendent Ankrah clarified that it was too early to attribute the shootings to the long-standing disputes in the area, as the investigation is still ongoing.
To ensure the safety of residents and prevent further violence, a combined police and military team has been deployed to Tuobodom. Meanwhile, eight people who were injured in the attack are being treated at the Techiman Holy Family Hospital. The bodies of the deceased have been transferred to the mortuary for post-mortem examination.
