Independent Candidate Frank Asare Unveils Development Plans for Techiman North, Builds Police Post and Clinic

Mr. Frank Asare, an independent candidate for the 2024 parliamentary elections in Techiman North, Bono East Region, has built a police post and a clinic in the constituency to enhance security and healthcare in the rural communities of Offuman and Adutwie.

In an interview with the Ghana News Agency (GNA) during a visit to the beneficiary communities, Mr. Asare explained that the construction of the police post and clinic was part of his efforts to improve the quality of life for residents. He emphasized his commitment to further advancing the socio-economic development of the rural areas and urged voters to support his candidacy in the upcoming elections on December 7.

As a legal practitioner, Mr. Asare highlighted his intention to bring meaningful change to the constituency by contributing to the creation of policies and laws that would benefit the people. He expressed his belief that security, quality healthcare, education, and peace are fundamental to building a better society and promised to enhance educational facilities in the constituency if elected.

Mr. Asare also outlined plans to establish Information Communication Technology (ICT) centers and libraries in other communities within the constituency. He believes these projects, once completed, would significantly improve the lives of local residents.

Addressing the development gap in the constituency, Mr. Asare stressed the need for voter support to help him bring much-needed change. He also revealed plans to offer interest-free loans to women traders to help expand their businesses, as well as provide skills training for unemployed youth to improve their job prospects.

Additionally, Mr. Asare aims to construct sports facilities and establish youth training centers to nurture and develop the talents of young people in the area. Recognizing Techiman North as one of the country’s major food baskets, he also pledged to support local farmers by providing financial incentives, farm inputs, agro-chemicals, hybrid seeds, and storage facilities to reduce post-harvest losses.

In addition to his legal qualifications, Mr. Asare is a Chartered Accountant, Public Administrator, and Chartered Tax Practitioner. He is confident that his experience and expertise will allow him to make a significant impact in Parliament and improve the lives of the people of Techiman North.
