Techiman North MP Elizabeth Ofosu-Adjare Donates GHC2,000 to Support Local Football Teams

The Member of Parliament for Techiman North, Lawyer Elizabeth Ofosu-Adjare, has made a generous cash donation of GHC2,000 to two local football teams in her constituency, Tanoboaseman FC and Sandy FC, both of which have successfully qualified to participate in the Division Two Middle League. The donation is intended to support these teams as they prepare for the upcoming league, giving them a much-needed boost as they compete at a higher level of football.
This act of generosity is part of a broader commitment by the Hon. MP to support and develop sports, particularly football, within the Techiman North constituency. Earlier in the year, Lawyer Ofosu-Adjare sponsored the organization of a Juvenile League in the constituency, aimed at providing young footballers with a platform to showcase their talent. Her involvement in these initiatives highlights her ongoing efforts to nurture and promote local football talent and to encourage youth participation in sports.
In addition to her personal sponsorship, the MP has also reiterated her strong support for the District Football Association (FA) and its mission to cultivate football talent at the grassroots level. Through these efforts, she hopes to create more opportunities for young athletes in the region to excel and represent their communities in larger football competitions.
Lawyer Ofosu-Adjare’s contribution is seen as a positive step toward strengthening the sports infrastructure in Techiman North, inspiring local teams to aim for excellence, and ensuring that young players have the resources they need to develop their skills and reach their full potential.
