Prince David Osei Accuses John Mahama of Greed, Urges Support for Bawumia in 2024 Elections

Actor Prince David Osei has sharply criticized former President John Dramani Mahama, accusing him of being a “greedy” leader.
In a post on X (formerly Twitter) on December 3, 2024, Osei questioned Mahama’s continued political ambitions, pointing out that he has held multiple key positions over the past 24 years. He suggested that after serving as an MP, Deputy Minister, Minister, Vice President, and President, Mahama should step aside and allow new leadership.
“12 years as an MP, 4 years as Deputy Minister, 4 years as Minister, 4 years as Vice President, 4 years as President, and 8 years as Former President. Yet, he still wants to be president again. The greediness of some African leaders should never be encouraged,” Osei remarked.
The actor then urged Ghanaians to vote for the New Patriotic Party (NPP) flagbearer, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, in the upcoming December 7 elections, calling for a change and emphasizing that Bawumia would bring positive change to the country.
“Let’s all vote for a new person. Let’s vote for Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia #1,” he added.
