Hiplife legend Reggie Rockstone has criticized GHOne presenter Serwaa Amihere over comments she made about Akuapem Poloo’s legal situation.
Serwaa Amihere took to social media to explain that Akuapem Poloo’s conviction was based on her own guilty plea, suggesting that this made it difficult to call for her release. According to Serwaa, pleading guilty means the person has admitted to their wrongdoings and should therefore be ready to face the consequences.
In response, Reggie Rockstone described Serwaa’s remarks as insensitive. He suggested that her perspective may stem from not understanding the emotional weight of the situation, particularly the impact on Poloo’s child.
Reggie further emphasized the importance of empathy, pointing out that people are asking for Poloo’s release because they are human and feel for the plight of both the actress and her son.
