Ghanaian musician Lasmid Owusu Nathaniel has revealed the sources of his musical inspiration.
In an interview with Kokonsa Kester on Y 107.9 FM’s Weekend Rush, Lasmid explained, “Everything inspires me—the lifestyle of others, the things I see people do, and the struggles I observe all push me to make music.”
The winner of MTN Hitmaker Season 8 shared that his upbringing was challenging, and he had to endure numerous difficulties to get where he is today. These experiences, he believes, heavily influence his music.
He continued, “I draw inspiration from everything around me, especially things that make sense to me, particularly from the streets where I grew up.”
Looking ahead, Lasmid mentioned that he plans to release more singles and hopes to collaborate with more artists in the near future. He encouraged his fans to expect something “big and different,” promising to continue delivering only the best.
